Myeongdong has been my go-to restaurant for a hearty Korean hotpot for a while now. But you have to be careful not to fill yourself up with the variety of side dishes (banchan) they give you minutes after you sit down. Makes it worth the wait – there are no bookings and lines can be long.

The Spicy Pork Bone Hotpot is my favourite. The soup is not too spicy and packs a flavourful punch. The meat is very tender and falls off the bone. The hotpot with rice is enough for 4–5 people easily, especially if you're ordering other dishes.
