Gursha Ethiopian Restaurant, Blacktown
Cuisine: Ethiopian
Address: 3/115 Main St, Blacktown NSW 2148
Gursha is a cozy little place in Blacktown, run by a couple serving authentic Ethiopian food.
You can order dishes individually, but it’s more fun to get a platter and share the food – the way it is traditionally eaten.
The platter comes with a variety of beef, lamb, chicken and vegetable dishes on top of injera
, a spongy bread made from fermented flour.

The coffee was rich and smooth to drink — somewhere between an espresso and a short black. I loved the way it was presented.
I had a chat with the owner, and he mentioned that he roasted the beans himself using the traditional Ethiopian method.

Overall, it's a fantastic spot. I recommend it if you’re looking to try something unique.
